Hanbat National University Hosts "Love for the Community" Briquette Distribution Volunteer Event
- 학생 및 교직원 등 40여 명, 대전 성남동 일원에서 연탄 나눔

□ 우리 대학은 지난 28일 지역 내 취약계층 대상 연탄 나눔 봉사를 통한 지역사회 공헌 활동을 펼쳤다.
□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) carried out a community service activity on the 28th, delivering briquettes to vulnerable groups in the local area as part of its commitment to social contribution.
○ 대전시 동구 성남동 일원에서 진행된 이날 봉사활동에는 제42대 총학생회 임원 등 재학생 및 교직원 약 40여 명이 참여했다.
○ The volunteer activity took place in the Seongnam-dong area of Dong-gu, Daejeon, with approximately 40 participants, including student leaders from the 42nd Student Government, other enrolled students, and faculty members.
○ 이번 봉사활동은 국립한밭대 학생과가 주관한 ‘지역사회 사랑나눔 봉사활동’의 일환으로, 겨울철 난방에 어려움을 겪는 주민들에게 도움의 손길을 보태고자 마련됐다.
○ Organized by the Hanbat National University Student Affairs Office, this initiative was part of the "Community Love Sharing Volunteer Activity." It was designed to lend a helping hand to local residents who struggle with heating costs during the cold winter months.
○ 봉사 참가자들은 주택가 골목을 직접 다니며 가구별로 연탄을 배달하고 따뜻한 온기를 전했다.
○ The volunteers personally navigated the narrow alleys of the residential area, delivering briquettes to each household and sharing a sense of warmth with the community.
○ 봉사에 참여한 한 학생은 “작은 정성이지만 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보내는 데 도움이 되길 바라며, 계속해서 지역사회에 기여할 수 있는 다양한 활동에 참여하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
○ One student who participated in the activity shared, “Although it is a small gesture, I hope it helps our neighbors stay warm this winter. I plan to continue participating in various activities to contribute to the local community.”
□ 국립한밭대학교는 매년 수통골 문화축제, 현충원 봉사활동 등을 통해 지역 유산의 가치 확산에 앞장서고 있으며, 앞으로도 다양한 나눔 활동을 통해 지역 주민과 소통하고 지속가능한 지역사회 발전을 위해 대학의 역할을 더욱 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
□ Hanbat National University has been taking the lead in spreading the value of local heritage through annual events such as the Sutonggol Culture Festival and volunteer activities at the National Cemetery. Moving forward, the university plans to further strengthen its role in sustainable community development and foster communication with local residents through a wide range of sharing initiatives.
