Hanbat National University Held 2024 Second Half University Competency Enhancement and Performance Dissemination Workshop

□ 우리 대학은 7일 라마다 대전 호텔에서 ‘2024 하반기 대학역량강화 및 성과확산 워크숍’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

□ The Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-joon) announced on the 7th that it would hold a 'university capacity building and performance diffusion workshop in the second half of 2024' at the Ramada Daejeon Hotel.

 ○ 이번 워크숍에는 오용준 총장과 확대학무위원, 행정실․과장 등 60여 명이 참석했으며, 전문가 특강 및 각 부서별 성과와 추진계획 공유, 대학중장기발전계획 의견 수렴 등을 진행했다.

 ○ The workshop was attended by more than 60 people, including President Oh Yong-joon, Expanded Academic Affairs Committee, administrative offices and directors, and special lectures by experts, sharing performances and implementation plans by each department and collecting opinions on mid- to long-term development plans at universities.

□ 먼저 1부 미래혁신포럼에서는 한양대학교 바이오메티컬공학전공 임창환 교수를 초청해 ‘인간, 뇌, 그리고 인공지능’을 주제로 뇌공학 분야와 AI의 현재와 미래에 대해 알아보는 시간을 가졌다.

□ First, the Future Innovation Forum invited Professor Lim Chang-hwan of Biometric Engineering at Hanyang University to learn about the present and future of brain engineering and AI under the theme of "Human, Brain, and Artificial Intelligence."

□ 2부에서는 고도화 된 대학중장기발전계획 공청회를 통해 이전의 발전계획을 잘 계승하고, 혁신의 방향을 재정비하는 의견수렴의 기회를 마련했으며, 각 부서별로 2024년 주요 성과와 2025년 주요 추진계획을 발표하며 공유했다.

□ In the second part, the advanced university mid- to long-term development plan public hearings provided an opportunity to inherit previous development plans and reorganize the direction of innovation, and each department announced and shared major achievements in 2024 and major implementation plans in 2025.

 ○ 지난해 주요 성과로는 △세종 공동캠퍼스 인공지능소프트웨어학과 이전 △반도체 특성화대학 지원사업 선정 △융합자율대학 신설 △약 200억 원 규모의 R&D 전용관 신축 예산 확보 등이 있었고, 올해 주요 추진계획은 △융합 다전공제도 개편 △학과기반의 경험중심 교육현장 구현 △RISE체계에서의 주도적 역할 확보 △국제전용학부 신설 등이 있었다.

 ○ Last year's major achievements included △ the transfer of the Artificial Intelligence Software Department to the Sejong Joint Campus △ selection for the Semiconductor Specialized University Support Project △ the establishment of the Convergence Autonomous University △ securing a budget of about 20 billion won for the construction of a new R&D-exclusive building. This year’s main plans include △ the reorganization of the convergence multi-major system △ the implementation of experience-based education in department-based settings △ securing a leading role within the RISE system △ the establishment of an international specialized department.

□ 국립한밭대 오용준 총장은 “지난 한 해 여러 어려움 속에서도 우리 대학은 구성원들의 노력과 강인한 저력으로 많은 성과를 이뤄냈다”며, “이러한 성과들을 잘 관리하고, 2025년도에도 대학의 특성화 방향을 담은 주요 계획들이 효과적으로 추진되어 대학의 혁신적 미래를 만들어 갈 수 있도록 힘을 모아달라”고 당부했다.

□ The President of Hanbat National University, Oh Yong-jun, stated, "Despite many challenges over the past year, our university achieved significant results through the efforts and resilience of our members." He further urged, "I ask everyone to manage these achievements well and work together so that the key plans for 2025, which reflect the university’s specialization direction, can be effectively implemented to shape the innovative future of the university."
