Dr. Jaemin Shin is an associate professor in the School of Basic Sciences and the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Hanbat National University. He received his doctorate in Applied Mathematics from Iowa State University. The general area of his research is mathematical modeling, inverse problems, partial differential equations, and computational methods. Currently, he is working on (1) inverse problems of several types, (2) analysis of PDEs in fluid dynamics, and (3) several mathematical models, including shape magnetic forming, benchmarking methodology, and deep learning. His research work also involves developing numerical algorithms and computation methods.
