□ 한밭대학교는 지난 7일 교내 대회의실에서 ‘제19기 학생홍보대사 및 제4기 학생홍보기자단 임명장 수여식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
○ 이날 수여식에는 최병욱 총장과 오용준 기획처장, 노황우 기획부처장이 참석했으며, 김성열(중국어과), 정우원(신소재공학과) 등 학생홍보대사 4명과 김예본(산업디자인학과) 등 학생홍보기자 9명이 임명장을 받고 새롭게 활동을 시작하게 됐다.
□ 학생홍보대사는 대학홍보영상과 브로슈어 등의 촬영과 모델 활동, 입시박람회, 캠퍼스 투어, 대학의 각종 공식행사 안내 지원 등 다방면에서 활약하고 있다.
○ 또한, 학생홍보기자단은 페이스북, 인스타그램, 유튜브 등 사회 관계망 서비스를 통해 대학 소식과 교육프로그램 안내 등 학우들과 지역주민들에게 유용한 각종 정보를 전달하며 온라인 홍보에 힘쓰고 있다.
○ 특히 코로나19로 비대면 활동이 늘어난 가운데 이번 학생홍보기자에는 응웬투푸엉(영어영문학과) 등 유학생들도 선발하여 글로벌 홍보를 강화하기로 하였다.
□ 최병욱 총장은 “우리 학생들이 비교과 활동 등 대학에서의 다양한 경험을 통해 본인의 재능과 자신의 길을 찾아갈 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”며, “대학운영에 있어 우리 교직원들이 보지 못하는 부분들을 학생 눈높이에서 발굴하고 대학정책에 반영될 수 있도록 적극적으로 건의해 달라”고 당부했다.
□ 한편, 학생홍보대사와 홍보기자단은 임명장 수여식 후, 어버이날과 스승의 날을 맞아 학생들이 직접 만든 영상편지 등을 전달하며 보이지 않는 곳에서 코로나19로부터 학생들의 안전을 위해 힘쓰고 있는 교직원들의 노고에 감사의 마음을 전했다.

Four student ambassadors, including Kim Seong-yeol (Chinese Department.), Jung Woo-won (New Material Engineering Department.), etc. 9 Student Press Group including Kim Ye-bon (Industrial Design Department.), etc. received a letter of appointment and began their new activities.
□ ‘Student ambassadors’ are active in various fields, such as filming and modeling for university promotional videos and brochures, entrance exam fairs, campus tours, and supporting information on various official events of the university.
○ Also, through social networking services such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, the ‘Student Press Group’ is working hard to promote online by imparting useful information to students and local residents, such as university news and educational program guides etc…
○ In particular, as non-face-to-face activities have increased due to COVID-19, international students such as Thu Phuong Nguyen (Department of English Language and Literature) will be selected as Student Press Group Reporters to strengthen global publicity.
□ President Choi Byung-wook said: “We will actively support our students so that they can find their own talents and their own path through various experiences at the university through extra activity etc…”. He recommended: “From the student’ eye-level excavate aspects of university operations that cannot be able to see from our staff and actively recommend policies that can be reflected.”
□ Meanwhile, Student Ambassadors and Student Press Group delivered a video letter made by themself on Parent's Day after the certificate of appointment ceremony, and thanked all the staff for their hard working from not being seen place to keep students safe from COVID 19.
