At the Antenna & Microwave Device Lab, we propose optimal antennas for wireless communication systems and build practical experience in actual manufacturing and measurement of antennas based on our designs. Through such research and experience, we aim to help students improve their research capabilities and field adaptability and cultivate the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required as antenna engineers so that they can find employment and conduct in-depth research. We design, fabricate, and measuring various antennas by creating designs using many 2D and 3D simulation tools including Ansoft’s HFSS and designing and analyzing antennas using various numerical analysis methods. In particular, research on UWB (ultra-wideband) antenna, multiband antenna, RFID (radio frequency identification), rectenna, motion detector, DVB-H antenna, Zigbee antenna, MIMO (multi-input multi-output) antenna, etc. is underway in the lab.
