The Department of Mobile Convergence Engineering aims to cultivate talents who will lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution, characterized by big data, AI, and other state-of-the-art technologies, by cultivating related expertise in theories and principles related to mobile convergence engineering. We also focus on cultivating professionals who will stand at the forefront of the expansion of related fields and bring forth new technologies. In addition, students are encouraged to conduct research on global knowledge in order to foster creative manpower with leadership skills that can lead globalization and digitization and discover and foster creative technologies through international cooperation.
The Department of Mobile Convergence Engineering, specializing in IoT and mobile communications, offers world-class manpower training programs with a combination of theoretical and practical courses that are in line with the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through this, we foster creative and flexible experts who can immediately adapt to working in the field and present new knowledge that can drive the advancement of international technology standards. The research areas include communication protocols related to mobile devices, communication theories and systems related to implementation, high-frequency and amplifier circuit design and systems, IoT and mobile utilization technology related to convergence, IT machinery design, machine learning utilizing big data analytics and AI, etc.
