The Department of Accounting is faced with the task of fostering experts on producing and utilizing information that can enhance transparency in corporate management, the reliability of corporate accounting information, the efficiency of capital markets, and the decision-making process for investment based on basic analysis. It is the responsibility of the accounting departments of universities in Daejeon, a science city, to foster mid-level management professionals for each industry to successfully build local innovation clusters, and to foster management consultants with expertise in accounting and taxation, as well as information processing and analytical skills.
