The Department of Accounting aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to produce information that is conducive to management decisions, report strategic information to external investors, and apply their knowledge in making tax-related decisions.
The ultimate goal of the Department of Accounting is to train accounting professionals with practical skills and problem-solving skills by specifically addressing the following areas.
The Department of Accounting is faced with the task of fostering experts on producing and utilizing information that can enhance transparency in corporate management, the reliability of corporate accounting information, the efficiency of capital markets, and the decision-making process for investment based on basic analysis. It is the responsibility of the accounting departments of universities in Daejeon, a science city, to foster mid-level management professionals for each industry to successfully build local innovation clusters, and to foster management consultants with expertise in accounting and taxation, as well as information processing and analytical skills. The Department of Informatics offers education that foster human resources with practical and problem-solving skills that meet the needs of the times.
The Department of Accounting trains students to become accounting experts with opportunities to become CEOs with the ability to manage the entire organization. In the future, the department aims to collaborate with the local community and operate community-linked programs and courses.
