The College of Business and Economics at Hanbat National University was established in 2005. However, its history came be traced back to earlier days with the opening of the Department of Business Administration in 1988, the Department of Economics in 1989, and the Department of Accounting in 1990.
Welcome to the website of the HBNU College of Business and Economics. We are composed of the Department of Economics, the Department of Convergence Management, and the Department of Accounting, with each department focusing on the studies of profound theories and cultivating young talents with common sense and professional expertise to lead the new era.
Despite our relatively short history, we have produced a number of outstanding leaders who have contributed to various areas of society. We have consistently produced certified public accountants, tax accountants, and government officials who have passed the higher civil service examination, thereby supplying excellent human resources to the financial sector, public institutions, corporations, and more.
We are now aspiring to make a giant leap forward. With active research and high-quality education, our goal is to enable our students to play a greater role in all sectors of society. To this end, we are equipping them with a global perspective and professional expertise, so that they can turn into creative and proactive leaders in our society and the world.
In order to fulfill their vision and aspirations, some of our students are currently studying in the United States to pursue joint degrees at our partner universities, and many other students are given the opportunity to broaden their horizons by visiting places around the world such as the U.S., Europe, and China. In addition, we offer a variety of programs for students to deepen their understanding of their majors and also acquire expertise outside of their majors.
