□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) announced on the 31st that it held the 'School of International Studies Freshman Entrance Ceremony and Career Design Workshop' at the on-campus International Exchange Center.

 ○ This event was prepared to commemorate the launch of the School of International Studies welcoming its first freshmen for the second semester of the 2026 academic year and to help foreign freshmen adapt to university life and set directions for their careers.

 ○ Key officials and faculty members attended the event, including President Oh Yong-jun, Nomad College Dean Kim Ju-ri, School of International Studies Head Yoon In-sun, and Faculty Association President Lee Won-il, along with around 40 School of International Studies freshmen and exchange students from various countries such as Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan.

 ○ In his congratulatory speech, President Oh Yong-jun congratulated the first freshmen of the School of International Studies, stating, "I hope that international students who came to Hanbat National University from all over the world will discover their potential at the university, grow into talents equipped with expertise and capabilities, and reach out to the world again".

 ○ In addition, Nomad College Dean Kim Ju-ri urged in her welcome speech, "Based on your interest in Korean culture and the Korean language, I hope you actively participate in university life, steadily devote yourselves to your studies, and grow into talents equipped with global capabilities".

□ Nguyen Thi Giang (Korean Language and Culture Major), a student of Vietnamese nationality who gave the admission oath as a student representative, expressed her expectations for the new university life starting at Hanbat National University and revealed her aspiration to be faithful to her studies, accumulate diverse experiences, and grow into a global talent.

□ The School of International Studies of Hanbat National University operates 3 majors, Global Software Convergence Major, Interdisciplinary Big Data Major, and Korean Language and Culture Major and plans to foster international talents who communicate with the world and advance into the world by creating an educational environment where students with diverse national and cultural backgrounds can learn and exchange together, enhancing students' academic and career capabilities based on major education and Korean language and culture education.
