Professor Yun Rin Ranks 1st and Professor Song Bok-seob Ranks 2nd in the 10th Presidential Candidate Election of Hanbat National University

□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) announced that as a result of holding the 10th presidential candidate election on Wednesday the 9th, Professor Yun Rin of the Department of Mechanical Engineering ranked 1st and Professor Song Bok-seob of the Department of Architecture ranked 2nd.
○ A total of 3 candidates ran in this election, and starting with a joint candidate speech session at 10 AM, the first round of voting was conducted from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
□ As a result of the first round of voting*, since no candidate obtained a majority of the valid votes, which was 184.1051 votes, a runoff election was held from 3 PM to 4 PM targeting Professor Yun Rin and Professor Song Bok-seob according to the ranking of votes in the first round.
* First round voting results: (Candidate No. 1) Candidate Kim Yoon-kee with 63.2640 votes, (Candidate No. 2) Candidate Yun Rin with 167.8162 votes, (Candidate No. 3) Candidate Song Bok-seob with 137.1299 votes
□ As a result of the runoff election, Professor Yun Rin obtained 184.7053 votes and Professor Song Bok-seob obtained 179.4112 votes, and according to the ranking of valid votes, Professor Yun Rin was selected as the 1st priority candidate and Professor Song Bok-seob as the 2nd priority candidate for the 10th presidency.
○ Accordingly, Hanbat National University will recommend the two candidates to the Ministry of Education before October 11 after going through a verification process such as checking for research ethics violations in accordance with relevant regulations.
□ Afterwards, the Ministry of Education will request the appointment of the 10th Hanbat National University presidential candidate after going through personnel verification, and the President of the Republic of Korea will officially appoint them.
