  • - Growing participation from university members and alumni in 100th anniversary commemorative projects and fund raising□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) which welcomes its 100th anniversary of foundation in 2027 is seeing a continuous streak of donations for the university development fund with interest and participation from university members alumni and regional enterprises spreading.○ Hanbat National University which opened doors in 1927 as Hongseong Public Engineering School has shared its history with the industrial and regional development of the Republic of Korea, and in order to commemorate the upcoming 100th anniversary of foundation in 2027 and prepare for the new 100 years it launched the 100th Anniversary Ceremony Project Promotion Committee last year planning and promoting various commemorative projects that can be held together with the region.○ Wishing for the successful promotion of these commemorative projects and a new leap forward for Hanbat National University, President Oh Yong-jun and former Alumni Association President Sung Yeol-goo Representative of Daechung Engineering Co Ltd recently donated 30 million won each making a total of 60 million won for the development fund.○ In addition, the 44th Alumni Association of the Graduate School of Industrys Executive MBA program contributed a total of 20 million won in development funds, and on the 25th, the 45th Alumni Association donated 10 million won upon completing the coursework for this first semester, adding their support.   • □ The Admissions Headquarters of Hanbat National University announced that it will run the 'Be Together(Hey Yo) Extracurricular Support' program for local high school club students until July as part of the 2026 high school-university linkage program.○ The program is designed to resolve academic curiosity felt by students during high school club activities and to support more in-depth exploration activities.○ It features mentoring by professors so that high school students can go beyond classroom activities and directly experience research and major fields actually taking place at the university.○ In particular, based on club exploration topics set by students themselves, university professors discuss research directions tailored to the level of high school students and provide support for experiments and practical training if necessary.○ During this first semester, professor mentoring is provided two to four times per club, offering students opportunities to flesh out and deepen their research through feedback from professors.○ Currently, 200 students from 11 high school clubs in the Daejeon area are participating in the program with professors from nine departments.
