교수학습센터, 미래 교육 혁신 위한 ‘2025 신임교수 교수법 워크숍’ 성료

□ 우리 대학은 지난 31일 교내 도서관에서 교수학습센터 주최로 올해 임용된 전임교원 24명을 대상으로 ‘2025학년도 신임교수 교수법 워크숍’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-joon) announced that on the 31st, it held the '2025 Workshop on Teaching Methods for New Faculty' hosted by the Center for Teaching and Learning at the university library, targeting 24 full-time faculty members appointed this year.

 ○ 이번 워크숍은 급변하는 교육 환경에 발맞춰 신임 교원들이 대학 교수로서의 전문성을 높이고, 효과적인 수업 운영 전략을 수립할 수 있도록 지원하고자 마련됐다.

 ○ This workshop was prepared to help the new faculty members enhance their professional expertise as university professors and establish effective class management strategies in line with the rapidly changing educational environment.

 ○ 특히 Z세대로 불리는 현 학생들을 이해하고 이들의 특성에 맞는 혁신적인 교수법을 습득하는 데 중점을 뒀다.

 ○ In particular, the focus was placed on understanding the current students, often referred to as Generation Z, and acquiring innovative teaching methods tailored to their characteristics.

 ○ 신임 교수들은, ‘혁신의 시대, (M)Z세대를 위한 대학 수업' 특강을 통해 최신 교육 트렌드와 학생 이해에 대한 통찰의 시간을 가졌으며, ‘마이크로티칭: 수업 디자인하기' 실습을 통해 소규모 모의수업을 진행하고, 전문 컨설턴트와 함께 자신의 강의를 객관적으로 분석하고 개선 방안을 모색해 보는 기회도 가졌다.

 ○ The new faculty members attended a special lecture titled, 'The Era of Innovation: University Classes for Generation (M)Z,' gaining insights into the latest educational trends and student understanding. They also had the opportunity to conduct small-scale mock classes through the 'Microteaching: Designing Classes' practical session, analyzing their own lectures objectively with a professional consultant and exploring ways for improvement.

 ○ 또한, 박준식 공과대학장의 ‘선배 교수와 함께하는 한밭 공감토크’ 프로그램을 통해 대학 생활 및 수업 운영 노하우, 학생들과의 효과적인 소통 전략 등 현실적인 경험과 조언을 공유하며 교육 네트워크를 형성했다.

 ○ Furthermore, they formed an educational network by sharing practical experiences and advice, such as know-how on campus life and class management, and effective communication strategies with students, through the 'Hanbat Empathy Talk with Senior Professors' program led by Park Joon-sik, Dean of the College of Engineering.

□ 이번 워크숍에 참여한 기계공학과 김지석 교수는 “대학에 첫발을 내딛는 시점에서 막연했던 강의 운영에 대한 구체적인 틀을 잡을 수 있었고, 특히 마이크로티칭을 통해 동료 교수들의 피드백을 받는 과정은 스스로의 교수법을 성찰하는 데 큰 도움이 되었다”며, “이번에 배운 내용을 토대로 앞으로 Z세대 학생들의 특성에 맞춰 수업을 재미있게 이끌어 가고 싶다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

□ Professor Ji-seok Kim of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who participated in the workshop, shared his thoughts, stating, "At the point of taking my first steps into the university, I was able to establish a concrete framework for course operation which had been vague. Receiving feedback from fellow professors, especially through microteaching, was a great help in reflecting on my own teaching methods." He added, "Based on what I've learned here, I want to lead my classes in an engaging way, tailored to the characteristics of Generation Z students."

□ 김지현 교수학습센터장은 “신임 교원들이 대학 교육의 질적 수준을 높이는 핵심 동력이 될 것으로 기대하며, 교수님들이 학생들과 소통하며 교육 역량을 충분히 발휘하실 수 있도록 최고 수준의 교육 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 제공해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

□ Kim Ji-hyun, Director of the Hanbat National University Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), emphasized, "We expect the new faculty members to become the core driving force for elevating the quality of university education. We will continue to provide the highest level of educational support programs so that professors can communicate with students and fully exercise their teaching capabilities."

□ 한편, 국립한밭대학교 교수학습센터는 매달 교수법 세미나를 개최하고, 첨단 교육 자료 및 컨설팅을 제공하는 등 교수님들의 교육 역량 강화를 위해 꾸준히 노력하고 있으며, 앞으로도 대학의 교육 경쟁력을 지속적으로 높여갈 계획이다.
